Preferred Qualifications * Proven expertise in design, integration, testing, and certification of advanced STE platforms. * Experience with diagnostic callout development to identify faults to the subsystem or component level using Probable Cause of Failure (PCOF) logic methods. * Knowledge of software migration and update processes, including self-test software updates and operational test development for mission-critical systems. * Experience in RF testing environments and integrating calibration requirements into automated test programs. * Hands-on experience in Design for Testability (DfT) and comprehensive troubleshooting of electronic test circuits and components. * Familiarity with developing and reviewing support documentation, including SVDs, SBPs, TEIs, TSRs, and CMRS. * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with team members, Government customers, and project stakeholders. * Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of collaboration and technical excellence. ## Description Amentum is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team supporting the development of innovative operational test systems for a NAVAIR Program. This opportunity is a key leadership position, responsible for serving as the primary design architect for automated test equipment and leading Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to ensure the successful development, implementation, and delivery of specialized testing solutions.
