 * 3+ years of experience of enterprise application testing/quality assurance
 * 3+ years of experience of functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
 * 3+ years of experience of defect tracking, triage, and retesting
 * Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

 * Appian platform familiarity
 * 1+ year of Appian testing experience
 * Experience testing enterprise workflow or low-code applications
 * Familiarity with test tools such as Jira, Xray, qTest, or Azure DevOps
 * Experience with GPS or federal application environments
 * ISTQB or similar certification preferred

## Description

As a Software Engineer II on the GPS Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for delivering Appian-based business process solutions that support mission objectives.

 * Support configuration, development, and defect resolution for an Appian replatforming effort replacing legacy capabilities.
 * Assist with building Appian components, refining user stories, completing unit testing, troubleshooting issues, and supporting releases and sprint delivery.
 * Collaborate with leads, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into build tasks and ensure the application continues to evolve in line with business priorities.
 * Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and release support
 * Apply Appian development standards, reusable components, and performance practices to support maintainability and technical quality
