 * 5+ years of experience supporting PC and Mac desktop hardware, operating systems, and software applications, along with end-user IT support and engineering/broadcast delivery solutions.

## Description

In this opportunity asa News Infrastructure Technician, you will:

 * Manage day-to-day technical support activities and collaborate with internal and external resources to support Reuters news coverage and live events.
 * Oversee key technologies and support broadcast delivery systems located in-house and at designated third-party colocation sites, while managing media distribution across multiple platforms for Reuters clients and subscribers.
 * Partner with Reuters video producers, deputy editors, and external vendors to ensure seamless content production and timely delivery of media assets.
 * Champion innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement by promoting efficient media and broadcast workflows.
 * Coordinate with internal engineering teams and third-party providers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment, platform, and workflow issues within required turnaround times.
 * Maintain accurate operational documentation, including PC hardware asset records, standard operating procedures, knowledge-base articles, checklists, and incident reports.
 * Represent the Editorial business in special projects, events, PC builds and hardware-refresh programs, employee onboarding, and local-area-network (LAN) support activities.
