Preferred Qualifications: * Prosci Change Management Certification and/or formal change management training preferred. * Experience working on large-scale transformation or multi-year program initiatives, particularly involving technology adoption or business process redesign. * Experience supporting organizational, technology, or process-driven change initiatives, ideally within a complex, decentralized, or higher-education environment. ## Description The CEMI Change Manager, Data & Analytics plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery and adoption of initiatives across the Cornell Enterprise Management Initiative (CEMI), including the Data and Analytics Program and other strategic program workstreams. Reporting to and working in partnership with the Assistant Director of Change Management, this position serves as a change management partner for the Data and Analytics workstream while also providing support for broader CEMI change initiatives as needed. Approximately 75% of the role's effort will focus on Data and Analytics change-related activities, with up to 25% allocated to other CEMI change management priorities. The role ensures alignment with university-wide organizational change management strategies, standards, methodologies, and governance practices while advancing adoption, readiness, and stakeholder engagement across the CEMI portfolio. The Change Manager collaborates closely with the CEMI Program Team, Data and Analytics leaders, project stakeholders, and vendor partners to assess organizational impacts, coordinate readiness activities, and support the successful adoption of new processes, technologies, services, and ways of working. This role focuses on the people side of change by preparing, supporting, and enabling faculty, staff, and leaders to successfully transition through change while minimizing disruption and maximizing business value., * Apply organizational change management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Prosci's ADKAR model, to support stakeholder readiness, adoption, and engagement across Data and Analytics initiatives. * Develop, maintain, and execute the Data and Analytics Change Management Strategy in alignment with broader CEMI and organizational change management objectives. * Partner with communications, training, and project teams to deliver stakeholder engagement, communications, learning, and readiness activities that support successful adoption. * Create and maintain change management work plans, assessments, and deliverables identified within the overall change strategy. * Conduct and document stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and risk mitigation activities. * Partner with project teams to understand future-state processes, business requirements, and organizational impacts in support of change planning and execution. * Facilitate and participate in change champion networks, stakeholder forums, focus groups, and feedback sessions to increase awareness, measure readiness, and gather insights. * Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, leaders, and functional partners across campuses and organizational units. * Ensure stakeholders are prepared for training, testing, demonstrations, and other experiential learning opportunities that support change adoption. * Monitor stakeholder feedback, adoption risks, and resistance, escalating concerns and recommending mitigation strategies as appropriate. * Collaborate with change management colleagues and program partners to ensure consistency in approach, messaging, reporting, and change management practices across concurrent initiatives. * Support measurement and reporting of change management activities, stakeholder readiness, and adoption outcomes. This is a 2 year term appointment which may be ended or extended based on organizational needs, funding availability, and performance.
