## About the Role

* Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining network and Windows environments
 * Experience with Cisco networking devices and technologies, including switches, routers, OSPF, and VLANs
 * Experience configuring systems to user environments
 * Knowledge of routing protocols, including RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF
 * Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 certificates and certificate authorities
 * Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree
 * Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification prior to hire date

Nice If You Have:

 * Experience with DoD programs and initiatives
 * Experience configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPsec VPNs
 * Experience analyzing network traffic with Wireshark or tcpdump
 * Experience working in classified spaces to implement network solutions, and implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices
 * Knowledge of VLAN design schemes for network separation
 * Ability to depict network diagrams accurately using Micro sof t Visio
 * Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently, as identified
 * Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients
 * CCNA Certification

## Description

Manage and operate communications and internal networks. Install new sof tware, administer security procedures, ensure system back-ups, monitor network performance, and make recommendations for improvement. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments. Solve a broad range of complex problems while working with limited direction. Interface regularly with internal and external customers and make significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
