Proficiency in writing stored procedures, functions, and views using PL/pgSQL. * Familiarity with PostgreSQL's features, extensions, and standard processes. Required Education: * Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience. * Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering. * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States ## Description Our team is searching for a Software Engineer who'll be an integral part of a team of other software engineers, network and systems engineers to design, implement, and deploy software which meet customer's requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments. You'll actively participate in the architecture and design of various software components focused on creating applications that leverage technologies such as virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms and technologies. We work on technical assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. We also work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative, understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions., Technical Engineering Services * Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Encouraged to supervise base and associate level engineers as needed. * Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Innovation * Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which use new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service. * Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives. * Understands the creation of company IPR. Communication and Development: * Collaborates with technical teams and applies system expertise to deliver technical solutions. * Continuously learns existing and new technologies. * Chips in with the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions. Technology Strategy * Contributes to new and existing technology options that support business goals. * Understands current technology that supports business goals. Service Operations & Reliability: * Utilizes proficient knowledge and skill in emerging DevOps-centric automation tools and technologies for CICD, configuration management, etc. for non-prod and production environments. * Performs environment management, automated server provisioning (VMs), pipeline configuration. * Creates, manages, and uses dashboard for continuous monitoring and health check of applications, and the underlying infrastructure, improve the quality of services using the monitoring feedback for non-production and production environment. Technical Writing * Write basic documentation on how technology works.
