Operation of a State Vehicle No ## Description Join Central Virginia Community College as an Information Technology Specialist and play a key role in supporting the systems that power our institution. In this position, you will provide both technical and functional support for enterprise applications that drive recruitment, class scheduling, advising, and student success. You will work closely with departments across the college to identify opportunities for improvement, implement system enhancements, and deliver practical solutions that streamline operations and improve outcomes. This role goes beyond day-to-day support; you will help shape how technology is used to support students and advance institutional priorities. As an Information Technology Specialist, you will proactively identify and implement solutions that increase efficiency, improve data quality, and enhance the user experience. Your work will directly contribute to a more effective, data-informed college environment., * Provide comprehensive technical and functional support for EAB Navigate (Student Success and Enrollment Success), including serving as system administrator. * Review, analyze, and improve departmental business processes to maximize system effectiveness and adoption. * Support and integrate additional enterprise systems, including reporting platforms, workflow automation tools, and identity/access management systems. * Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical and functional issues across supported platforms. * Proactively identify and implement integrations between EAB Navigate and other college systems. * Develop training materials and deliver training to end-users across the college. * Maintain academic programs and pathways within supported systems (EAB and Ad Astra). * Participate in vendor meetings, system implementations, and cross-functional initiatives. * Provide support for Ad Astra scheduling, reporting, and room utilization analytics. * Support Student Information System (SIS) data integrations, including student groups, class scheduling, and application data. * Develop, validate, and deliver reports to support operational and strategic decision-making. * Manage system access in alignment with security, compliance, and audit requirements.
