## About the Role

+ Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Marketing or English and 3-5 years of related experience

 + Superior grasp of grammar and style as indicated by test

 + Demonstrated copywriting and conceptual ability as indicated by portfolio

Preferred

 + Retail or fashion experience

 + Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Miro

 + Experience writing brand manifestos, concept statements, humor or broadcast

## Description

In this role you will craft compelling copy, balance multiple high-visibility projects, partner with art directors from concept to execution and help maintain the brand voice across channels.

What You'll Do

 + Craft memorable headlines with wit and polish using Kohl's brand voice guide

 + Lead copy development for seasonal and brand campaigns

 + Partner closely with other writers, art directors and designers

 + Collaborate with AI to optimize copywriting and concepting

 + Present copy and concepts with partners to leaders and stakeholders

 + Translate customer insights into relevant and engaging copy

 + Tailor copy for each channel using best practices

 + Ensure grammatical and stylistic accuracy using Kohl's copy style guide

 + Incorporate feedback so copy is up-to-date throughout the lifecycle of a project

 + Adhere to production schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met

 + Additional tasks may be assigned
