This is far more than traditional reporting: you'll own the design, development, and automation of the reporting infrastructure that drives strategic decisions across the organization. You'll convert legacy manual Excel tools into scalable, automated Power BI solutions, build data pipelines, and become the L&D team's analytics subject matter expert. You'll work across two data domains: + L&D-Owned platforms (LMS, KnowledgeBase, etc.) - full data management and reporting ownership. + External data sources (call handling and operational performance metrics) - partner cross-functionally to access, integrate, and report on data tied to the Consumer Cellular training experience. You will need to reside within 50 miles of our Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ as this role has the option of hybrid or onsite. What You Will Do: L&D Platform Data Management + Serve as the L&D team's primary resource for data management and reporting within L&D owned platforms (LMS, KnowledgeBase, etc.) + Build and maintain data connections between L&D platforms and Power BI for automated, near-real-time reporting on learning activity and engagement, and maintain data hygiene - proactively flagging and resolving data quality issues. Reporting Infrastructure & Power BI Development + Design, build, and maintain production-grade Power BI dashboards that track the training journey (skills gaps, tool use, program effectiveness, and performance trends), published to Power BI Service with scheduled refresh so they stay current automatically. + Develop semantic data models that unify L&D platform and external operational data using DAX measures for key KPI's (period-over-period comparisons, running totals, completion benchmarks) and Row-Level Security (RLS) so stakeholders see only data appropriate to their role. + Modernize manual tracking tools into automated reports, dashboards, and workflows that replace repetitive processes. + Document workflows, data sources, and refresh schedules to support sustainability and knowledge transfer. Stakeholder Reporting & Governance + Prepare and present executive-ready presentations, reports, and dashboards for business leaders. + Maintain a single source of truth for L&D metrics - standardized KPI definitions, naming conventions, and a central report inventory - and champion data governance best practices for report ownership, refresh schedules, and access management. + Partner with subject matter experts and systems teams to ensure data quality, access, and alignment across all domains. Data Analysis & Insights + Analyze L&D platform data (learner engagement, completion trends, time-to-proficiency) to assess training effectiveness and surface actionable insights for leadership and business stakeholders. ## Related Videos - [Data Science in Retail](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/586-data-science-in-retail) - [Beyond Dashboards: Fixing Text-to-SQL with Semantic RAG](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2036-beyond-dashboards-fixing-text-to-sql-with-semantic-rag) - [Data Governance in the Era of AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1622-data-governance-in-the-era-of-ai) - [From Global Capability Centers to AI-Powered Command Centers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100096-from-global-capability-centers-to-ai-powered-command-centers) - [Data Analytics with Microsoft Fabric: End-to-End Use Case with Data Agents](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1547-data-analytics-with-microsoft-fabric-end-to-end-use-case-with-data-agents) - [Bringing Clarity to Event Streams: Enabling Analytics and AI Through Rich Metadata](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1616-bringing-clarity-to-event-streams-enabling-analytics-and-ai-through-rich-metadata) ## Related Articles - [Got AI ideas but no money?
