## Description

The Optimus (Tesla Bot) team isseekinga highly experienced Technical Program Manager to support the end-to-end development of the Optimus hand hardware subsystem. This role will focus on driving the creation of a high-dexterity, mass-manufacturable hand for the Optimus humanoid robot, ensuring seamless integration across hardware engineering, firmware, controls, and AI manipulation teams. You will work closely with Global Sourcing, Supplier Industrialization, and Tesla suppliers to meet production demands, while driving escalations and resolutions for anyschedulerisks. In addition to exceptional organizational skills, you mustleveragestrong technicalexpertiseanddemonstratea working understanding of electromechanical systems, controls, testing, manufacturing, and assembly to guide cross-functional execution and mitigate technical challenges.
What You'll Do

 * Own overall program schedule and roadmap to meet development needs.Identifystrategies to accelerate developmentwhere possible
 * Create, own, and managethe end-to-end hardware developmentprocessfrom architecture, design, prototyping, validation testing,industrializationand mass production
 * Track andmaintainkey components and program metrics including cost, reliability, mass, and performance to schedule
 * Identify, track, and communicate program and technical risks.Lead critical priority reaction plansto mitigate risksbefore they are realized
 * Collaborate withengineeringowners ondesignupdates and ensure all changes are well-documented and efficiently implemented
 * Conduct regular reviews with senior management to present project status updates
