## About the Role

As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will be part of the Mobile Engineering Department supporting the Mobile Device Software team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization., + Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot for building backend services.

 + Proficiency with Angular 2+ or ReactJS, HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and CSS.

 + Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs, including documentation and gateway patterns.

 + Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Neo4J.

 + Experience with cloud development using AWS services like CloudFormation, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

## Description

+ Develop, modify, and enhance backend systems that support Spectrum Mobile's platform services.

 + Lead and motivate a high-performing engineering team through shifting priorities, ensuring focus and timely delivery.

 + Design and implement backend services for device provisioning, activation, account management, and carrier integrations.

 + Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and project managers.

 + Provide technical leadership on integration activities with carrier partners and internal mobile systems.
