Understanding the unique role that JCCs play in the engagement of families with young children, significant philanthropic investment has been made in the Sheva Center for Innovation in Early Childhood Jewish Education & Engagement to help lead and support our movement's early childhood centers, which serve more than 35,000 young learners every year. The foundation of the Sheva Center's work is the JCCs of North America Early Learning Framework, built on seven ("sheva" in Hebrew) core elements of early childhood education. The Sheva Center empowers early learning center leadership teams and classroom educators through a diverse set of professional development, training, and networking opportunities that enable JCC early learning centers to thrive as centers of excellence. The Sheva Center Communication, Technology, and Operations Associate is a full-time position and reports to the Sheva Center Vice President.The Communication, Technology, and Operations Associate serves as the administrative and programmatic backbone of the Sheva Center -- supporting communications, technology, operations, and large-scale online learning initiatives. As a member of the Sheva Center team, the Sheva Center Communication, Technology, and Operations Associate plays a vital field-facing role, helping to operationalize program initiatives while interacting with early childhood professionals. The Sheva Center Communication, Technology, and Operations Associate is committed to operational excellence and innovation and plays a pivotal role in advancing the Sheva Center's current work. They thrive on building relationships with early childhood professionals through reflective, empathetic listening and are open-minded and open-hearted. The Communication, Technology, and Operations Associate must simultaneously be an inspirational communicator and a continuous learner. They share a commitment to enriching North American Jewish life, particularly by advancing early childhood Jewish education and family engagement as a means of building our Jewish communities of the future., * Act as a welcoming presence and first point of contact for the Sheva Center + Manage the Sheva Center email address: respond to inquiries, provide resources, schedule meetings, or direct to other staff members as appropriate + Manage JCC movement early childhood discussion lists + Engage in outreach and intake for Sheva Center programming * Professional Development + Online o Organize and provide logistical support * In-Person (Gatherings/Retreats/Cohorts or the like) + Project management from planning to execution, minus content development: create budget, book the venue, contract with outside consultants, handle permits/insurance, market the event, manage registration, and staff up, oversee setup, run check-in, coordinate vendors, keep the schedule on track, manage AV, handle guest needs, stay ready for safety/logistics issues, process consultants and vendors invoices, send thank-yous, reconcile the budget, survey participants, expense reimbursements, etc. Data * Track and report engagement with the Sheva Center Develop and execute the Sheva Center social media and communication strategies, in collaboration with the Marketing department, when applicable.
