The Java Application Core Components (JACC) team plays a key role in this: we build and maintain the shared frameworks and components that define how other Adyen teams design, structure, and deploy their Java applications. As part of JACC, you will build and maintain the core Java tools and components used across all of Adyen, shaping how other engineering teams build their services. You'll work on some of the largest ongoing efforts in the company, including 3 large-scale migrations that will shape the future of Adyen's application architecture. You'll join a lean team of 6 Java experts, working in a Kanban-like way with minimal process overhead, and gain real influence over the architecture of one of the leading players in the payments space. * Design, build, and evolve the internal and open source Java frameworks and components used by every Java application team at Adyen. * Play an active role in one or more of the team's 3 large-scale migrations that are reshaping Adyen's application architecture. * Provide hands-on technical guidance to other engineering teams, by guiding them on how the frameworks and libraries we provide can be used to solve Adyen's business problems. * Design and evolve workflows used by other engineering teams across Adyen, working closely with them to identify pain points and improvement opportunities. * Collaborate with partner platform teams (Kubernetes infrastructure, deployment, security) to make sure our components integrate well across Adyen's tech stack. * Advocate for best practices across Adyen and define boundaries/guidance on how the frameworks/libraries we maintain can be used. This should be achieved by creating code validation rules, running workshops and giving presentations to other development teams. ## Related Videos - [From DevOps to Scaled DevOps: How We’re Rebuilding Continuous Delivery as a Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100018-from-devops-to-scaled-devops-how-we-re-rebuilding-continuous-delivery-as-a-platform) - [Modular Secrets to Lightning-Fast Android Builds](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1428-modular-secrets-to-lightning-fast-android-builds) - [For the REST of us: API First and Conway’s Law](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1932-for-the-rest-of-us-api-first-and-conway-s-law) - [Agile work at CARIAD – Creating a customer web application for controlling the vehicle ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/200-agile-work-at-cariad-creating-a-customer-web-application-for-controlling-the-vehicle) - [Contract-First Frontend: Scaling Reliable UIs with OpenAPI and AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1995-contract-first-frontend-scaling-reliable-uis-with-openapi-and-ai) - [Give your build some love, it will give it back!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/514-give-your-build-some-love-it-will-give-it-back) ## Related Articles - [Software Developer Salary in The Netherlands [2023]](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/217-software-developer-salary-in-the-netherlands-2023) - [How to land a developer job in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/36-how-to-land-a-developer-job-in-amsterdam) - [How to Find Tech Jobs in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/279-how-to-find-tech-jobs-in-amsterdam) - [The Netherlands – Europe’s powerhouse for software development?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/31-the-netherlands-europe-s-powerhouse-for-software-development) - [Best Companies in the Netherlands: Top 25 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/193-best-companies-in-the-netherlands-top-25-companies-in-2023) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs)
