## About the Role

* 9+ years of experience as an ISSE with large multi-tiered programs and Bachelors in related field; OR 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

## Description

* Design secure system and network architectures across multi-tiered enclaves and cloud-based big data environments.
 * Execute DoD RMF system accreditation processes, implement DISA STIGs/SRGs, and apply NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
 * Assess operational risks for integrated open source and COTS/GOTS software, utilizing automated vulnerability scanning tools., * Create, review, and edit authorization documentation to maintain comprehensive security authorization packages.
 * Manage POA&Ms, workflows, and artifact generation within eMASS, Xacta, or equivalent RMF repositories.
 * Provide security planning, risk assessments, and vulnerability management across Linux (RHEL), AWS, and Kubernetes platforms.
 * Guide engineering teams on implementing system-level security controls and maintaining secure baseline configurations.
 * Implement automated security scanning, script automation using Bash, and interpret network protocol security requirements.

Telework:
This position supports a hybrid telework arrangement, requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site.
