The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the defence industry and Model Based Systems Engineering - ideally with strong expertise in systems engineering, verification, validation, project management, and documentation. We are looking for an engineer who promotes a mindset of attention to detail, communication, and teamwork within the team. Candidates with a good understanding of model-based engineering techniques, including the use of DOORS NG, Rhapsody, and engineering workflow should be able to apply to lifecycle processes and methodologies., * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field., * Systems Engineering * Enterprise Architecture (EA Sparx) * Rhapsody * White Box and Black Box testing * Development of Systems Architecture. * Technical Requirement Specification * Requirements Verification * Requirements Development * Requirements Proving * PLM tools * System design * Systems Integration * Ability to provide inputs to project Management * MS Office Suite * Understanding of complete V Lifecycle. * Manage Non-Conformances * IBM DOORS / configuration management tools * JIRA, * Ability to analyse complex technical problems and generate effective solutions. * Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. * Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities., * Extensive experience in Model Based Systems Engineering roles. * Proven experience in systems engineering, preferably within the defence or aerospace industry. * Additional expertise in Nanl Systems. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose innovative solutions. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. * Experience with project management practices and tools, including schedule management, risk analysis, and resource allocation. * Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD, DO-178C, and DO-254, is desirable. * Eligibility for security clearance (dependent on project requirements). ## Description * As a Model Based Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems, while adhering to industry standards and best practices. * Duties include but not limited to: * Support the development and effective use of MBSE tools and artifacts in support of customer needs. * Designing and maintaining requirements architectures. * Creating SysML views to represent interactions. * You are expected to be able to work in all areas of the V model where you will be able to support concept translating systems to customer requirements, through to in-service support.
