## About the Role

* Strong experience with VMware vSphere 6.7 (ESXi & vCenter)
 * Proven experience in production support environments
 * Solid troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, and networking layers
 * Active SC Clearance (essential)
 * Ability to work onsite in Corsham 4-5 days per week

## Description

* Provide hands-on administration and support of VMware vSphere 6.7 environments (ESXi & vCenter)
 * Diagnose and resolve incidents within a live production environment, ensuring minimal disruption
 * Support BAU operations and resolver group activities across virtual machines, storage, and networking
 * Manage full VM lifecycle (provisioning, cloning, migration, decommissioning)
 * Monitor cluster health, including HA/DRS configurations and resource utilisation
 * Perform performance tuning and optimisation across virtual infrastructure
 * Troubleshoot host, datastore, and virtual networking (vSwitch / distributed switch) issues
 * Apply patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with security and operational standards
 * Work within secure SC-cleared environments, adhering to strict protocols
 * Provide out-of-hours and weekend support, including high-priority incident response
