## About the Role

* Hands-on experience with kdb+ and strong proficiency in q for time-series data processing
 * Experience building real-time and historical data pipelines (tick data capture, ingestion, querying, and distribution systems)
 * Proficiency in additional languages such as Python or Java, including API integration (REST, messaging frameworks)
 * Familiarity with Linux-based environments, scripting, and networking concepts (process management, sockets, IPC)
 * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerisation tools (Docker/Podman), plus CI/CD pipelines
 * Knowledge of market data platforms and financial systems (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon) and understanding of time-series databases and distributed systems

## Description

* Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions for market data and analytics applications
 * Design, develop, test and maintain kdb+ applications and supporting services
 * Support full project delivery lifecycle, including debugging, optimisation and production support
 * Perform data analysis and build reporting/analytics outputs for stakeholders
 * Mentor junior developers and contribute to code quality, standards and team delivery
