## About the Role

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
 * Basic understanding of information security, risk management, and cybersecurity frameworks.
 * Interest in NIS2, ISO 27001, and cybersecurity compliance topics.
 * Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
 * Ability to document processes in a structured and professional manner.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Especially in programing MS Excel macros.
 * Good communication skills in English; German is an advantage.

Working Student - NIS2 Compliance & Information Security
Support the implementation of NIS2 requirements and related German cybersecurity legislation through risk assessments, process documentation, compliance activities, and information security governance support.
Your Responsibilities

 * Support the implementation of NIS2 Directive requirements and related German cybersecurity legislation.
 * Assist in analyzing regulatory requirements and translating them into organizational processes and controls.
 * Review, update, and maintain information security policies, procedures, standards, and process documentation.
 * Support the development and continuous improvement of ISMS documentation.
 * Support conducting and documenting risk assessments for company assets, including IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and information assets.
 * Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts together with process owners and technical experts.
 * Maintain asset inventories and support asset classification activities.
 * Assist in tracking remediation actions and monitoring risk treatment plans.
 * Support gap analyses against NIS2 requirements and internal security policies.
 * Create reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate compliance status.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to collect and validate security-related information.
 * Support awareness and communication activities related to cybersecurity and risk management.
