* Solid hands-on experience administering Linux servers in a production environment
 * Practical experience with a virtualisation or cloud platform such as Proxmox, AWS or similar
 * Working knowledge of core networking concepts and firewall management
 * Comfortable owning problems end-to-end in a small team environment
 * Exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory or Microsoft 365
 * Exposure to GCP or Firebase

## Description

* Maintaining the availability, stability and performance of core systems working towards 24/7 reliability
 * Supporting and administering virtualisation and cloud platforms including Proxmox and AWS
 * Managing networking fundamentals, firewall management and security
 * Administering Linux and Windows servers, Nginx, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Active Directory and Microsoft 365
 * Monitoring system health and responding to incidents
 * Contributing to backup and resilience planning
 * Providing occasional support and bug fixes across existing applications as priorities allow
