This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Milford, MI three (3) times per week, at minimum., Join the innovative and high-impact Planar Motion Coordination team within Global Systems Engineering, Safety, and Validation as a Systems Integration Validation Engineer. Our team defines and delivers torque distribution (mechanical AWD/4WD, eAWD, eLSD, etc.), traction control, and vehicle dynamics state estimation systems and safety cases that shape how every GM vehicle performs on the road. In this role, you will lead end-to-end integration and validation of these systems across vehicle programs and architecture variants. This includes system-level test case definition, safety/functional/performance/robustness testing via virtual/hardware-in-the-loop (HiL)/vehicle assets, issue identification & resolution, and system readiness assessments.
