## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or knowledge of computer science and related fields.
 * 1+ years of experience in data analysis and/or software development/engineering
 * Familiarity with: SQL, data science concepts, API's and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
 * Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks and standards
 * A proactive approach to learning new skills, tools, and programming languages.
 * The agility to embrace the unknown.
 * Problem-solving and analytical skills.
 * Collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross functional teams

Nice to Have:

 * Experience with machine learning or AI in security applications.
 * Experience in Agile methodologies and using project management tools like JIRA and confluence.

## Description

* Ingest, parse, analyze and query large volumes of API data stored in a MySQL database.
 * Execute MySQL queries to ensure data integrity and consistency.
 * Work with internal and client teams to analyse, define and implement data rules and data flows.
 * Collaborate with Technical Leads and internal teams to implement best practices for compliance, data privacy, and protection, against relevant security standards (NIST, ISO-27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP)
 * Help with creating tools to help engineering teams identify security-related weaknesses.
 * Monitor the platform & tools for compliance threats and reporting.
 * Create reports for stakeholders.
 * Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies, contributing to ongoing improvements of platform architecture and best practices.
 * Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation on the platform architecture, services, and technical decisions to support internal teams and future development., * Ongoing extensive training and skills development support to further your career aspirations
