## About the Role

* Experience working with SQL Server and strong T-SQL development skills.
 * Ability to design and build modular and reusable data components.
 * Understanding of data modelling, schema design and performance optimisation.
 * Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development.
 * Experience using Git and version control practices.
 * Exposure to Azure data tools such as Azure SQL, Data Factory or Synapse.
 * Understanding of structured development practices and SDLC principles.
 * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
 * Experience supporting or improving SQL Server environments.
 * Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (ideally Azure).
 * Experience working in structured development or delivery environments.
 * Involvement in system improvements or modernisation initiatives.

## Description

* Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, high-quality data pipelines and models across SQL Server and Azure platforms.
 * Develop simple, modular, reusable data components following best practices to enhance maintainability, performance, and governance.
 * Own end-to-end delivery of data solutions, including deployment, monitoring, and proactive resolution of issues within Azure DevOps environments.
 * Drive continuous improvement through transparent communication, code reviews, constructive feedback, and adoption of modern data engineering practices.
