Do you have a background in embedded software, control systems and leading engineering teams within a highly regulated environment?, You'll be an experienced technical leader with a passion for delivering robust, high-quality software within an engineering or manufacturing environment., * A degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. * Proven experience leading software development teams and delivering complex technical projects. * Strong embedded software development experience. * Excellent knowledge of C, C and C#. * Experience developing software for embedded control systems. * A solid understanding of software architecture, system integration and HMI development. * Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies. * Strong requirements capture, documentation and test specification experience. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * The ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical delivery. Experience working within safety-critical, industrial automation, electronics manufacturing, instrumentation, power electronics or other regulated engineering environments would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of digital electronics would also be beneficial. ## Description We're working with an innovative engineering manufacturer that develops complex electronic systems used in safety-critical industrial applications. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Software Manager to lead the software function, shape the technical roadmap, and oversee the successful delivery of software projects from concept through to deployment., Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll lead a small team of Software Engineers while managing external development partners to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and to specification.
