Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or seven years of relevant experience,

 * Experience with Spok and similar communication systems.
 * Minimum of 3 years of experience in system engineering or administration.
 * Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 * - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) are a plus.
 * ITIL certification is preferred.

## Description

Spok System Engineers
Remote
The two System Engineers-Spok System will provide technical expertise and support for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the Spok communication system and devices used for critical patient-care support to the Clinical Center. This role ensures the system operates efficiently and aligns CIT's requirements, maintaining flexibility and continuity of resources.
Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the technical lead for the Call Center systems

 * Install, configure, and maintain the Spok communication system.
 * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
 * Ensure system security and compliance with organizational policies.
 * Provide technical support and training to users.
 * Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
 * Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Spok with other systems.
 * Perform regular system upgrades and patches.
 * Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
 * Provide on-call support as appropriate
 * Ensure cross-training and knowledge sharing within the team.
