## About the Role

* Strong scope for ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
 * 4 days onsite / 1 day remote
 * 5+ years' experience in database administration (PostgreSQL or similar)
 * Strong knowledge of high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery
 * Experience with Linux systems and scripting (Python, Ruby, or Perl)
 * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, and observability tools is a plus
 * A systematic, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills

## Description

* Designing, deploying, and supporting cross-platform database solutions (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse, MSSQL)
 * Ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability across critical systems
 * Implementing and maintaining:
 * Backup and disaster recovery strategies
 * Database optimization (indexes, triggers, stored procedures)
 * Collaborating closely with development, infrastructure, and investment teams
 * Owning projects end-to-end - from design through to production deployment
