Working closely with our outsourced IT provider (CodeZero), this role will manage day-to-day IT operations while defining AVK's longer-term strategy for in-house capability, digital resilience, and data compliance. The IT Manager will play a strategic role within Business Operations, partnering with the Head of Data to ensure the right infrastructure, governance, and policies are in place to support ISO accreditation and strong data protection standards., * Act as AVK's internal point of contact for all IT operations delivered through CodeZero * Maintain a strong working relationship with CodeZero, ensuring collaboration and clear communication * Coordinate hardware acquisition, installation, and lifecycle management through CodeZero * Support a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new starters, ensuring hardware, access, and setup are ready on day one * Keep internal teams informed on any planned changes, upgrades, or outages Strategic IT and Infrastructure Planning (25%) * Define AVK's IT roadmap in collaboration with the VP of Business Operations and the Head of Data * Identify opportunities to improve resilience, user experience, and data security * Align infrastructure and tools with AVK's broader business operations and data strategy Cybersecurity and Data Compliance (20%) * Oversee cybersecurity activities delivered through CodeZero, ensuring protection standards are upheld * Partner with the Head of Data and compliance team to maintain GDPR and ISO 27001 compliance * Maintain risk registers, incident documentation, and recovery procedures * Support regular reviews of data access, permissions, and device security, alongside the wider business operations team.
