## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline (or equivalent knowledge and experience).
 * 8+ years of experience in software development life cycle, at least 5 years of which within aerospace (DO-178B/C) or other safety-critical domain.
 * Proficiency in embedded C and familiarity with MISRA C standards.
 * Experience inbare-metal programming with microcontrollers.
 * Knowledge of software architecture and/or software testing methods.
 * Perform requirement analysis and flow down to software and detail design.
 * Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, and I²C.
 * Proficiency with requirements management and configuration management tools.
 * Experience of model-based development using MATLAB Simulink.
 * Working knowledge with ARM microcontrollers.
 * Understanding of control systems development.
 * Basic understanding of electronics and ability to read schematics.
 * Experience in certification programmes and in compliance demonstrations.
 * Experience in scripting languages like Python would be an added advantage.

 * Produce requirements, design, implementation, and tests for software components.
 * Ensure software life cycle data produced are in accordance with development processes and procedures.
 * Perform hardware/software integration for debugging, verification, and release of software.
 * Contribute improvements to internal procedure and standards.
