Hyper-V Support Engineer/SRE (Windows Infrastructure)

Location: London (5 Days Onsite)
Contract: Temporary/Contract
Day Rate: Up to £410 per day
Experience: Minimum 5+ years
Start: Immediate

We are looking for 2 experienced Production Hyper-V Support Engineers/SREs to join a high-priority programme supporting an enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform. This is an excellent opportunity for infrastructure professionals with strong production support experience who thrive in critical, live environments.

Key Responsibilities

 * Provide production support for a large-scale Windows infrastructure and IAM platform.
 * Maintain and support Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
 * Perform Windows Server operating system upgrades and life cycle management.
 * Remediate configuration drift to ensure platform consistency and compliance.
 * Deliver operational stability, incident resolution, and proactive platform improvements.
 * Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks.
 * Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and work closely with engineering teams to minimise service disruption.
 * Support continuous service improvements and SRE best practices.
