## About the Role

* 3+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering or DevOps
 * Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
 * Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
 * Experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
 * Understanding of cloud-native architecture and modern platform engineering
 * Knowledge of Azure networking, including Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, DNS, load balancing, NSGs and firewalls
 * Familiarity with cloud security, identity management and monitoring
 * Experience with GitHub, source control and CI/CD
 * Experience designing, deploying and operating enterprise cloud environments
 * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
 * An automation-first mindset and a practical approach to problem solving
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desirable

 * Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare or another regulated environment
 * Cloud certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, Terraform Associate or CKA
 * Experience working within a platform engineering or internal cloud services team
 * Experience supporting application, integration, data or AI workloads

## Description

* Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
 * Deploy and support Microsoft Azure services across compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring and identity
 * Develop reusable platform components, automation frameworks and infrastructure patterns
 * Support the onboarding of workloads onto cloud platforms
 * Operate and troubleshoot containerised workloads using Kubernetes / AKS
 * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform delivery
 * Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies and pull-request workflows
 * Implement cloud security controls and governance standards
 * Support monitoring, cost management, compliance and audit requirements
 * Contribute to cloud platform reliability, performance and continuous improvement
 * Work collaboratively with technical teams to design and implement cloud solutions
 * Maintain technical documentation and contribute to engineering best practices
