## Description

* Manage and maintain IDMS schemas, subschemas, areas, sets, records, and database definitions.
 * Support application development teams with database design, query optimization, and change implementation.
 * Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
 * Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
 * Execute database reorganization, backup, recovery, and migration activities.
 * Review and implement database changes through release management processes.
 * Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
 * Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
 * Coordinate with mainframe operations teams for batch jobs and system upgrades.
 * Participate in on-call support and incident management as required.
