## About the Role

* Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on GCP. AWS and/or Azure experience is a bonus, not a requirement
 * Solid experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
 * Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
 * Strong scripting skills, for example Python, Shell or PowerShell
 * Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, architecture and best practice
 * Proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaboration

Nice to have

 * Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
 * Cloud certifications (GCP, AWS or Azure)
 * Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk or DataDog
 * Familiarity with Agile and Scrum
 * Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures

## Description

* Designing, implementing and maintaining scalable, reliable DevOps solutions for cloud based infrastructure, with GCP as the primary platform
 * Working closely with cross functional teams to design and deliver effective CI/CD pipelines
 * Managing and enhancing cloud infrastructure, including serverless and event driven services
 * Using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to automate deployment and configuration
 * Maintaining version control and workflows using GitHub
 * Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure, deployment and configuration issues
 * Implementing security best practice and ensuring compliance across the DevOps lifecycle
 * Keeping an eye on emerging tools and trends, and recommending improvements
