## About the Role

* PhD or Master's degree in scientific computing, applied mathematics, or computer science.
 * 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, maintenance, and performance optimization of production-grade scientific software, including a minimum of 2 years in an industrial environment.
 * Strong programming expertise in Python, JAX and Rust.
 * Demonstrated HPC skills, spanning CPU parallelization (MPI, OpenMP), GPU computing, scheduling and orchestration of workloads across heterogeneous systems, performance profiling and optimization.
 * Good knowledge of finite precision arithmetics and numerical methods for linear algebra.
 * Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Nice to have :

 * Strong delivery mindset with a focus on impact and execution.
 * Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
 * Hands-on experience operating within agentic AI environments, following established best practices.

## Description

As a Senior HPC Engineer, you will play a central role in scaling and optimizing the computational backbone of our chip simulation workflows. Collaborating closely with quantum theorists, experimentalists, and software engineers, you will design, optimize, and maintain high-performance scientific software and compute backends that support quantum chip design and calibration., * Drive performance improvements of scientific computing tools using SOTA HPC techniques across CPU and GPU architectures in both cloud and on-premises environments.

 * Profile, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks at all levels (e.g., algorithm design, software implementation, hardware-level optimization).
 * Build and scale distributed simulation pipelines to support increasingly complex quantum system models.
