## About the Role

Do you have experience in Web services design?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 5-7 years of Java programming skills

 * 3-5 years of experience with Reactive Programming (Vert.x)
 * 1-2 years hands on experience with AI tools for development (creating AI Agents and utilizing AI tools for development)
 * 3-5 years building Web Services and Restful APIs, * Bachelor's Degree is preferred
 * Experience in using latest AI tools for development is highly desired
 * Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins GitHub)
 * Experience working with JDBC in a transactional application (using any RDBMS but preferably PostgreSQL)
 * An awareness of performance implications of different queries and inserts/updates
 * Thorough understanding of and experience with structured software development methodologies including design
 * Development, and testing in an Agile environment
 * Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams
 * Excellent work ethic and strong sense of ownership of end result
 * Entrepreneurial minded, creative problem solver, and innovative thinker
 * Life science, chemistry or biology experience a plus

The working hours for this position will be EST. Remote US Candidates, only.

Candidates must have the capability to Interview In-Person at our Headquarters in Waltham, MA USA.

## Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Back End Software Developer (AI, Java, Vert.x, AWS) to join our Signals Software team, building our next generation cloud notebook application. You will be focused on the back-end design and development of our cloud notebook product, helping turn marketing requirements into an easy to use and elegant application designed for the scientific community.

You Will -

 * Collaborate with fellow team members on priorities, specifications, and feature implementation
 * Craft well-documented, clean, and tested code
 * Create secure, performant interfaces and services
 * Build and maintain new, high-impact functionality into Signals Notebook
 * Work with cloud services and technologies
