Technical Skills: * Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools. * Experience with API-driven design, microservices, and event-driven or service-oriented architecture (SOA). * Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, monitoring, and performance optimization in strategies. * Solid grasp of architectural concerns such as scalability, fault tolerance, security, compliance, and device integration. Soft Skills: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. * Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams, mentoring engineers, and influencing technical direction. Preferred Skills: * Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or TOGAF. * Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments. * Experience in digital transformation, legacy modernization, or retail platform evolution. * Industry experience in logistics, postal services, or retail networks. ## Description Architectural Leadership: * Design scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions supporting retail operations, customer journeys, and omnichannel services. * Design a digital customer channel for our B2B and B2C customers (front and back end) through successive MVPs with the ambition to create a group asset * Help identify optimisations and innovations across initiatives such as self-service harmonisation, remote assistance, and AI-enabled retail experiences. * Develop architectural standards, design patterns, and governance models aligned with enterprise and retail strategy. Solution Development & Guidance: * Support application development teams with high-level solution design and technical direction. * Review architecture and technical designs to ensure performance, resilience, scalability, and usability in retail environments. * Advise on trade-offs and architectural decisions throughout the software delivery lifecycle. · Solution Delivery Support: * Guide development teams during build and implementation phases. * Support issue resolution and performance tuning across platforms and components. * Contribute to disaster recovery, high availability, and security architecture planning. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: * Work closely with business, product, and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural solutions. * Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to integrate CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation. * Facilitate architecture reviews, design workshops, and cross-functional discussions.
