This role collaborates with cross-functional plant teams to identify and execute opportunities that enhance equipment reliability through procedural improvements, equipment upgrades, and the adoption of emerging technologies. Responsibilities include analyzing equipment history, conducting root cause analyses of critical failures and supporting the design and deployment of new equipment with a focus on reliability and maintainability. The Reliability Engineer also contributes to autonomous maintenance initiatives and promotes a progressive maintenance strategy-from reactive to preventive, predictive and ultimately preventive-by-design.
