## About the Role

+ Proven hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus, including theme architecture, Liquid development, Dawn/OS 2.0, Checkout Extensibility, application implementation, and multi-market configurations.
 + Demonstrated experience building, configuring, and launching live Shopify stores rather than solely managing delivery teams.
 + Strong solution design skills with the ability to evaluate business requirements and recommend scalable technical approaches.
 + Experience developing proof-of-concept solutions and communicating technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 + Good understanding of APIs, webhooks, middleware patterns, and modern composable commerce architectures.
 + Experience integrating Shopify with ERP, OMS, PIM, payment, or other enterprise platforms.
 + Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities, including root-cause analysis and resolution of live eCommerce platform issues.
 + Experience supporting international eCommerce operations across multiple markets, currencies, languages, tax environments, and payment methods.
 + Knowledge of localisation tools and translation workflows.
 + A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes from concept through delivery.
 + Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
 + Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure during critical trading periods.

## Description

As a Digital Product Owner, you will own the technical foundation of Avon's global Shopify ecosystem across both B2C and B2B channels. You will be responsible for maintaining the platform architecture, ensuring technical stability, enabling scalable growth across more than 33 markets, and designing solutions that support evolving business needs. Working closely with eCommerce, technology, and business stakeholders, you will drive platform excellence through hands-on configuration, integration management, technical troubleshooting, and continuous optimisation of Avon's digital commerce capabilities., *

 + Managing Shopify theme architecture, reusable templates, structural layouts, and metafield frameworks across B2C and B2B environments.
 + Defining and maintaining scalable platform building blocks that enable efficient content management and merchandising.
 + Evaluating business requirements and translating them into practical Shopify-based solutions using native functionality, third-party applications, or custom development approaches.
 + Creating proof-of-concept configurations and recommending technical solutions while balancing scalability, performance, and business needs.
 + Assessing, installing, and technically configuring Shopify applications and integrations, including solutions related to loyalty, reviews, personalisation, virtual try-on, and translation.
 + Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting integrations between Shopify and connected platforms such as OMS, PIM, payment, and fulfilment systems.
 + Supporting market launches by ensuring platform readiness, validating integrations, configuring payment gateways, and coordinating technical go-live activities.
 + Acting as the first point of contact for platform-level incidents, diagnosing root causes, implementing fixes, and coordinating escalations when required.
 + Monitoring technical performance indicators, including site speed, uptime, checkout health, application compatibility, and overall platform stability.
 + Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
 + Providing technical support during peak trading periods and participating in on-call support arrangements for critical platform incidents.
