Working with customers to understand requirements. * Experience creating technical documentation, including low-level designs, design standards, templates and statements of work. Desirable Skills / Experience * CCNP or JNCIP level qualification, or equivalent practical experience. * Experience with MPLS, fibre optic transmission, DWDM and structured hardware or software testing in a lab environment. * Excellent knowledge of IP network technologies, including practical experience with BGP and OSPF. * Strong Stakeholder Management ## Description As part of a major networking programme, you will play a key role in supporting and developing one of the UK's largest shared network infrastructures. In this role, you will help drive the ongoing development and evolution of the core network, designing and delivering complex Wide Area Network (WAN) solutions for customers while evaluating and introducing new technologies and services. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of resilient, scalable, and supportable connectivity solutions that meet both current and future requirements. You will support the introduction and enhancement of services such as cloud connectivity, multi-homed internet transit, and higher-speed core network capabilities, helping to ensure the network continues to provide secure, reliable, and future-ready connectivity for the organisations that depend on it. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical national infrastructure while helping to shape its future performance, resilience, and service offering.
