## About the Role

Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The Senior Accountant performs accounting duties of a complex nature requiring professional experience and knowledge of accounting principles., * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience

 * 5+ years of professional Accounting experience, in an enterprise/ERP environment; preferably in large national or global corporation
 * Knowledge of U.S. General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), best practices, basic accounting terminology and concepts.
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel experience required
 * Ability to work independently with little supervision, to initiate new ideas, to create new systems, to audit and correct errors, to communicate clearly and accurately, to assist in the direction, control or planning of an activity, to make decisions based on measurable or verifiable criteria, to keep information confidential, to schedule tasks to meet deadlines

## Description

* Responsible for managing activities in collaboration with Corporate Accounting
 * Prepare journal entries, maintain ledgers, reconcile and analyze specific general, intercompany and other subsidiary account ledgers
 * Ensure that assigned accounting activities are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
 * Calculates month-end accruals. Researches and corrects issues and variances
 * Assists in month-end close and the preparation of month-end deliverables
 * Prepare profit and loss variance analysis and supports audit schedules.
 * Resolves and escalates issues to management in a timely manner
 * Produce timely and accurate internal and external monthly financial statements and provide analysis on information
