As a System Administrator, you will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for design, support and maintenance of Data Systems and Peripherals for the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts., * Deploy, configure, and manage Windows and LINUX environments, utilizing enterprise tools and scripting to streamline provisioning and maintenance. * Administer core server and network services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, to ensure high availability and optimal performance. * Manage and maintain petabytes of infrastructure storage across the enterprise. * Develop and deploy automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency in system management, patching, and reporting. * Implement and audit robust cybersecurity controls, including system hardening, access management, and vulnerability remediation to ensure compliance with DoD standards. * Provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across diverse operating systems and virtualized environments. * Manage and support virtualization and containerization platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Podman), collaborating on scalable system improvements and cloud integrations. * Execute end-to-end system maintenance, including performance monitoring, enterprise patch management (SCCM, WSUS, Lansweeper, custom tools), and proactive vulnerability assessments. * Implement, maintain and test comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and rapid system restoration capabilities. * Develop dynamic testing schedules and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices. * Partner with Information System Security Managers (ISSM) to ensure policy compliance and stay current with emerging technologies and relevant certifications. * Other duties as assigned by supervisor. ## Related Videos - [Hacking MSSQL on Cloud.
