## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
 * Minimum of seven (7) years of aerospace engineering or aerospace manufacturing experience
 * Strong proficiency in:
 * Blueprint reading
 * GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
 * Engineering specification interpretation
 * Experience using Siemens NX (3D CAD) or AutoCAD
 * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

Preferred Attributes

 * Experience in aerospace manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or assembly environments
 * Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and industry standards
 * Experience developing manufacturing processes for complex aerospace components
 * Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
 * Strong project management and product lifecycle management experience
 * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
 * Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building capabilities
 * Experience supporting new product introductions and process transfers
 * Demonstrated success implementing process improvements that enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency

## Description

Our client is a high growth manufacturing company and they are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support product development and manufacturing operations within a growing aerospace manufacturing organization. In this role, you will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure products meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and successful program execution from order receipt through final shipment., As a Process Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between engineering design and manufacturing execution. You will be responsible for developing efficient manufacturing methods, supporting production teams, and ensuring products are built in accordance with customer specifications and aerospace quality standards.

You will:

 * Develop and document manufacturing processes based on customer drawings, specifications, and blueprint requirements.
 * Translate engineering requirements into detailed manufacturing instructions and production documentation.
 * Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
 * Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during product development and production activities.
 * Manage products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from purchase order receipt through final shipment.
 * Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
 * Support product and process updates to improve quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.

Process Engineer Duties Include

 * Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs)
 * Developing manufacturing routings and operation sheets
 * Defining tooling requirements and manufacturing methods
 * Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
 * Applying GD&T principles to manufacturing and inspection processes
 * Supporting production readiness and process validation activities
 * Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
 * Driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, cost, and delivery performance
