Preferred * Experience with product customization, personalization, or product configuration platforms. * Experience supporting eCommerce and manufacturing ecosystems. * Agile, Product Management, or SAFe certifications. * Experience leading global and distributed teams. * Experience with AI-enabled customer experiences and digital product innovation. ## Description The Director, IT Global Customization Technology, provides strategic leadership for YETI's global customization capabilities, with accountability for product strategy, technology roadmap, delivery execution, platform reliability, operational performance, vendor partnerships, and organizational effectiveness. This leader partners closely with Digital Commerce, Operations, Manufacturing, Customer Experience, Supply Chain, and enterprise technology teams to deliver scalable personalization capabilities that improve customer experience, support operational efficiency, and enable future business growth. The Director leads a cross-functional team of product owners, business analysts, engineers, QA professionals, Scrum Masters, and external partners responsible for advancing the Customization platform and related initiatives. The role is expected to provide leadership for visual customization evolution, QA modernization, Agile delivery practices, and enterprise technology integration efforts. What You'll Do Technology Strategy & Leadership * Define and execute the multi-year Customization technology strategy aligned to Consumer Technology and business objectives. * Develop integrated technology, products, and operational plans supporting growth, customer experience, and manufacturing scalability. * Establish platform investment priorities and technology modernization roadmaps. * Drive innovation in product configuration, personalization, workflow automation, and digital customer experiences. * Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities. Product Portfolio Ownership * Own the Customization technology portfolio, roadmap, and prioritization model. * Govern demand intake, prioritization, funding recommendations, and capacity allocation. * Ensure delivery efforts align with measurable business outcomes. * Balance innovation investments, platform stability, technical debt reduction, and operational excellence. * Partner with Digital Commerce, Operations, Manufacturing, and Customer Experience leaders to establish strategic priorities. Delivery & Program Governance * Provide executive sponsorship and governance for major Customization initiatives. * Establish delivery frameworks, roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics. * Ensure effective risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting. * Drive Agile maturity and continuous improvement across teams. * Monitor portfolio health, delivery performance, and realization of business value. Operational Excellence * Own platform reliability, scalability, performance, and support effectiveness. * Establish service-level objectives and operational performance measures. * Drive continuous improvement of support processes, release management, and quality controls. * Ensure compliance with security, architecture, governance, and change-management standards. * Lead incident review and root-cause remediation efforts. Financial & Resource Management * Develop annual budgets, workforce plans, and investment recommendations. * Manage vendor and partner relationships supporting the Customization ecosystem. * Evaluate sourcing strategies, including contractor and near-shore resources. * Ensure efficient allocation of technology resources and budget. * Build and present business cases supporting strategic investments.
