## About the Role

* A BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
 * 3+ years of relevant professional experience
 * Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS
 * Experience with responsive and adaptive design
 * Proficient understanding of client-side scripting with JavaScript
 * Good understanding of third-party library management with npm
 * Experience with version control systems such as Git (highly preferred)
 * Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
 * Hands-on experience using Vue.js (highly preferred), or similar libraries, to develop modern web applications
 * Good understanding of consuming external REST APIs
 * Good problem-solving skills
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus points for:

 * 1+ years of experience with Tailwind CSS
 * Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD workflows
 * Proficient understanding of state management with Vue.js in a single-page application
 * Experience writing JavaScript ECMAScript 2015 (ES6)
 * Experience with Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence
 * Comfort with Linux-based systems
 * Experience with the Laravel framework

## Description

As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will craft responsive web applications that deliver consistent user experiences across all device types. Collaborating closely with our back-end development teams, you will ensure seamless integration of web elements and back-end functionality. You will be part of an innovative, creative team, developing and supporting applications end to end: specification review and assessment, development, code review, launch, and ongoing maintenance of features and web applications.

 * As the Front-End Software Engineer, you will:Develop web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that adhere to modern standards and best practices
 * Build responsive interfaces that work across desktop and mobile devices
 * Establish and maintain a toolchain of front-end technologies for use across company software
 * Develop web applications based on mockups, wireframes, and product and technical requirements
 * Collaborate with back-end developers on feature implementation
 * Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
 * Consume external and internal APIs to enhance interactivity in web applications
