Years of Experience 7+ years, * Strong hands-on coding in a typed OOP language (Java, C#, TypeScript, Go, Kotlin, or similar) * Professional experience building both modern front-end apps and backend APIs/services * Proven ability to design production-grade architecture across front-end, backend, data, and integration layers * Skilled at breaking down complex requirements into implementation plans and technical docs * Experience leading technical work for a small team or owning a major feature area Solid grasp of API design, auth patterns, data modeling, error handling, and testing * Able to ramp up in a large/complex codebase with minimal direction * Practical security knowledge: access control, data protection, dependency hygiene, production readiness * Strong communication skills for explaining tradeoffs to engineers and stakeholders * Familiarity with AI application patterns: tool calling, prompt/control flow, context management, safe handling of model I/O Preferred Skills * TypeScript, Node.js, React * SaaS, enterprise, government, or secure internal platform experience * Microservices, containerized/cloud-native architecture, CI/CD * Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, or OneDrive integration * OIDC/OAuth2, Keycloak, or Entra ID * Experience with sensitive data, enterprise permissions, auditability, compliance * DevSecOps, automated testing, observability * AI-enabled document workflows, search/summarization, or agentic patterns * LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs Working Conditons Standard office/remote software engineering role. Requires sustained focus for coding, code review, and collaborative technical sessions (in person or virtual). ## Description We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Workforce engineering team, an AI-enabled application platform focused on secure, user-centered workflows, enterprise integrations, and cloud-native delivery. This is a hands-on role: the ideal candidate will spend 50%+ of their time actively designing, coding, reviewing, and shipping software while also leading technical execution for a small team. Responsibilities include building full stack features across modern web front ends and backend APIs, defining application architecture and API contracts, contributing to AI-enabled capabilities (tool calling, prompt/control flow, context management, LLM integration), supporting secure enterprise integrations, and mentoring engineers through code review and pairing.
