The successful candidate must be a confident, innovative, systems developer with a background in .NET and related technologies, who is ready to hit the ground running. The Role Will Involve Working on a wide variety of new and existing projects across multiple platforms (Web, Desktop and Mobile) using the Microsoft .NET stack. The team works on both internal and customer-facing applications; and the successful applicant will be expected to provide support to end-users. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, and testing applications; and should be comfortable coding in a variety of languages. Essential Skills * Minimum of 3 years experience working with .NET technologies, specifically ASP.NET. * Practical experience working with SQL or NoSQL Databases. * Knowledge of RESTFful concepts and architectures. * Strong proficiency working with real-time, event-driven data, using TCP/IP or Web Sockets. * A passion for clean, reusable code; following SOLID principles, and DDD. * Ability to perform debugging and troubleshooting across multiple environments including Linux and Windows servers. * Working knowledge of version control systems (Git/SVN). * High analytical capability. * Good interpersonal skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. * Ability and willingness to travel to different locations. * A current full UK driving licence.
