Nice to have: * Have an MSc level education in a technical field, preferably specializing in embedded systems, industrial technology, or similar. * You have knowledge or experience with wireless protocols e.g: EnOcean, BLE, WiFi, LTE * You are familiar with electronics design (enough to read schematics and debug a board). * Experience with over-the-air update systems and A/B-style robust updates (Mender, Memfault, etc), including update safety and rollback across a device fleet. * Familiarity with secure boot and the ARM TrustZone stack (TF-A, OP-TEE) and/or packaging services onto a Linux image. * Previous experience in IoT system architecture and design ## Description You will eliminate industrial waste by architecting the next generation of IoT solutions that bridge the gap between hardware and the cloud. As a primary enabler in this hardware enabled SaaS mission, you lead the end to end development of wireless sensor systems from initial research and customer pilots to managing a massive scalable fleet. You will work within cross functional teams to master embedded software and automated factory feedback while ensuring data science teams have the high quality insights needed to drive global efficiency. Beyond technical execution, you provide the engineering leadership necessary to mentor peers through design reviews and scale a greener industrial future. In this role you will be part of the Edge Infrastructure team that is responsible for part of the platform. You will work mainly on our connected bridges that gather data from sensors and ingest the data to our cloud platform. Deep technical knowledge about systems, embedded Linux, and networking are required in this team. Some of the things you will be doing in your day-to-day work will be: * Develop and maintain our embedded software on the Debian based gateways. * Design, develop, and maintain our tools for fulfillment and onboarding, always striving to make them better but also more efficient. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and architect end-to-end IoT solutions that meet product goals and technical requirements. * Code reviews and provide feedback on your colleague's work. * Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to solve scalability challenges like, for example, building a VPN, optimizing data communication., * Remote Work Flexibility up to 2 months/year (with manager approval) * Structured Onboarding & Mentorship support * Social Events like Sensorfact Week & team dinners * Office Perks like unlimited coffee, snacks, and free Friday lunch On top of that…We offer you the usual: a contract for 32-40 hours per week.
