Expertise in technology change - Ability to explain and work with technology groups. Expertise in working with Jira. Using both Microsoft Office (incl MS project), Jira, Confluence. 3. Strong organisation and communication skills - Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities, using both internal and external teams. Strong communication skills (verbal and written); able to represent the project at governance forums or Boards, strong status reporting, and vendor management reporting 4. Excellent governance experience around RAID - Evidence of highlighting and managing risks, highlighting and managing assumptions, minimising and addressing issues, working with multiple internal and external dependencies. 5. People and stakeholder experience - Able to work collaboratively across a programme and organisation, building a network of contacts both internally and externally. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate, persuade and influence across technology, and business. Stakeholders should be within stream up to and including board level. Capable of innovative thinking and able to influence stakeholders within the business to adopt new approaches and ways of working 6. Strong requirements experience - Experience of collecting, and managing requirements, then using these as the basis to deliver and test against. Working with advanced change control. 7. Desirable Criteria: * Understanding of Banking environments * A recognised project or programme management qualification e.g. Prince 2, MSP, APMP or PMP ## Description We are looking for a high-calibre individual with a strong background in change and project delivery to assume key roles in an extensive portfolio of work. Our Senior Change Delivery Managers are responsible for leading projects and the associated business change activities. They have primary responsibility for successful delivery of the required outcomes, including the establishment of appropriate governance and assurance, monitoring progress, managing risks, issues and dependencies and ensuring business readiness for change. You will have a key role, working closely with the Business Sponsor from developing the Business Case through to ensuring that all business outcomes are achieved. You will relish working in a complex environment, with diverse groups of stakeholders. This is a people management role, directly responsible for day to day management of a project team and matrix managing a range of internal and vendor resources. You will develop your multi-disciplinary team through sharing information effectively, coaching and communicating a clear vision to ensure that your team is productive, engaged and motivated to deliver the area's aims - ensuring the end to end leadership of business change. Number of direct reports: 3 to 6 You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of technical products and components and lead the definition of the agile way of working for the project. You will work closely with Agile product and development teams to deliver on the product roadmaps, driving new products and features. The jobholder will report into a Portfolio Manager or Senior Programme Manager within the Projects and Programmes team. The Senior Change Delivery Manager must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior managers, the programme office, the wider project and portfolio teams, and various third parties. The role has the authority, and is responsible for the delivery of, the projects on a day-to-day basis including: * Driving to align all functions, groups and factions of the organisation inside and outside of technology to drive coordination and collaboration into projects * Project Planning - From planning work, in MSP and Jira, down to managing the weekly workload of the teams. Working with either direct team using Agile Scrums, to vendor teams where SOWs are defined and managed. * Reporting - reporting to control and programme boards of progress and managing a wide range of stakeholders. * Workshops - able to facilitate and manage various workshops from design through requirements, to release. * Stakeholder management - working within a complex programme, liaising with other snr PMS to meet interdependencies and ensure the programme releases meet scope, quality, cost and time. . * Resource management - ensuring the hours and forecast for all project work accurately and critical resources outlined to be able to forecast. Accurate demand rolling wave no less than 6 months hence. Critical resources are identified, requested and managed to the correct level of visibility to ensure engagement The SCDM must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior managers, the programme office, the wider project and portfolio teams, and various third parties. * Risk management and governance - carried out at an advanced level. Forward plans are created to the end of the programme, with risks and appropriate mitigations / contingencies raised against all necessary deliverables. * Benefits management - the true impact of the project and change is mapped and the stakeholder coalition is built and coached to fully champion, deliver and deploy within our customers and BAU teams the impact and benefit of the project * Project change - any movement in the plan is fully impacted, defined and the appropriate change management tasks and deliverables are performed and used * Candidates would need to feel comfortable working in such an environment that mixes agile with very strong programme milestone tracking, change control and complex programme governance and reporting. Typical role responsibilities include: Business Case - Lead the development of the Business Case, alignment with senior stakeholders and agreement through the Project Board. Planning - Ensure robust planning and appropriate delivery methodology, tracking and review. Communications and Stakeholder Management - Lead, manage and direct effective stakeholder relationships across multiple groups to achieve buy-in to project objectives and delivery of outcomes. Guidance - Provide direction, coaching and development to the team Resource Management - Build and maintain a strong delivery-focused project team. Provide leadership and direct a multi-disciplinary team to deliver successfully. Risk & Issues - Accountable for ensuring risks and issues are identified, prioritised, assessed and mitigated. Ensure senior stakeholders are briefed, updated and where appropriate, enrolled in the management and control of key risks. Identify and engage specialists as appropriate. Benefits Realisation - Provide leadership in monitoring benefit delivery and to maximise benefits from the project. Project Performance, Controls and Reporting - Responsible for identifying success criteria, set project controls and be accountable for performance. Monitor and control progress, engage fully with assurance and respond to recommendations. Support accurate, efficient and timely reporting. Manage the project's budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivery and realised benefits as the project progresses Leadership & Vision - Create a motivational environment in which projects can succeed - working effectively, collaboratively and managing dependencies. Dependency Management - Own cross departmental and key supplier dependencies, ensure dependencies are re-aligned to reflect changes in the project's environment. Driving delivery - Ensure agreed project outcomes defined within the business case are met, within time, quality and cost constraints. Actively remove blockers, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate. Applicants should ensure they have the below skills: 1. Time and cost management - Project executed to time, with agreed resources and within budget, and quality met. Evidence of delivering against tight timescales looked for since timescales for the programme are very tight. A focus on milestone deliver is important.
