## About the Role

* Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker/in Systemintegration, ein IT-Studium oder vergleichbare Praxiserfahrung
 * Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb von Service-Provider- oder Carrier-Netzen - oder du hängst im Enterprise-Umfeld an der Decke und willst endlich echtes Backbone fahren
 * Sichere Kenntnisse in BGP und einem IGP (IS-IS oder OSPF), idealerweise MPLS/L2VPN/L3VPN
 * Praxiserfahrung mit Juniper (Junos) - Nokia/SR OS oder Cisco IOS-XR sind eine gute Basis, Junos bringen wir dir bei
 * Verständnis für den Layer darunter: DWDM, Glasfaser, optische Budgets sind für dich keine Fremdwörter
 * Strukturierte, dokumentierende Arbeitsweise (wir sind ISO-27001-zertifiziert)
 * Deutsch fließend, Englisch gut (RFC-Lektüre, Peering-Kommunikation)
 * Von Vorteil: RIPE-Datenbank/LIR-Erfahrung, Automatisierung (Ansible, Python, NETCONF), Erfahrung mit IXP-Peering, Monitoring-Stacks (Grafana, InfluxDB, Flow-Analyse)

## Description

* Betrieb und Ausbau unseres Juniper-MX-Backbones (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN)
 * Peering-Management an den großen deutschen und europäischen Internetknoten
 * Planung und Umsetzung von Netzerweiterungen - vom neuen PoP bis zur Anbindung unseres nächsten Rechenzentrums (Neubau in Planung)
 * IP-Transit- und Upstream-Management, Traffic Engineering, DDoS-Mitigation (RTBH/Flowspec)
 * Automatisierung: wir wollen weg von Hand-Konfiguration, hin zu strukturierten Workflows - deine Ideen sind gefragt
 * Eskalationsinstanz für komplexe Störungen, Mentoring für Junior-Kollegen
