## Description

As a Backend Engineer, you will:

 * Develop and maintain JavaScript code for new features and performance optimisation.
 * Contribute to improving performance and caching as our platform continues to scale.
 * Build maintainable, reusable, and reliable code.
 * Work with our AWS infrastructure to ensure high performance, monitoring, and alerting.
 * Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences.
 * Be an active member of our flat-structured development team, contributing to technical and product strategy discussions.
 * Implement software development best practices, including testing and code reviews.
