## Description

* Attend accidents / incidents affecting the safe Operation of the infrastructure as directed by route control.

 * Where necessary and appropriate, undertake the role of Rail Incident Officer [RIO], take responsibility for the command structure being set-up and lead the co-ordination of the infrastructure and service restoration activities.

 * Collate information and evidence to support initial investigations into incidents and provide reports as directed.

 * Provide incident response cover for other Mobile Operations Managers (MOMs) as directed.

 * Undertake operational support duties as required to include, but not limited to - Performance monitoring, seasonal duties, contingency planning, audit work and supporting engineering / maintenance works.

 * Maintain response equipment in good mechanical order and keep vehicles safe, clean and tidy.

 * Undertake duties in response to Route crime, including graffiti removal as required. Liaise with BTP in response to such incidents.

 * Assist the Operations Team with all Operational requirements as directed to include, but not limited to Deputy Duties, location visits, competency evidence and Operations Manual procedures.

 * Where competent work signalling locations as directed.

 * Represent Network Rail and the industry with our Lineside and 3 rd party Neighbours.
