About You Essential Skills: * Languages: Expert-level mastery of TypeScript and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+). * Runtime Environments: Strong proficiency in js for backend services and build tooling. * Low-Level DOM Manipulation: Proven experience working directly with the DOM and Browser APIs without relying on abstraction frameworks (React, Vue, etc.). * DevOps & Infrastructure: Solid hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes (K8s), and building robust CI/CD pipelines. * Software Engineering Fundamentals: Excellent command of data structures, algorithms, system design, and clean code architectures. Capabilities: * Performance Optimisation: Ability to profile, debug, and optimize code to execute with minimal CPU and memory footprints in highly constrained environments. * Tooling Leverage: Proactive adoption and strong leverage of LLM/AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development and automate repetitive workflows. * Autonomy & Problem Solving: Capability to diagnose complex, asynchronous race conditions across different browser environments and vendor scripts. ## Description We are looking for a skilled JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer to join our Ads and Commercial Development team. In this role, you will build and optimize the high-performance, low-latency infrastructure that powers our commercial platforms. Unlike standard full-stack or frontend roles that rely heavily on heavy UI frameworks, this position focuses deeply on the inner workings of the browser.
